Proctor's Mechanical Stokers - Hammerton Street Iron Works - Burnley

A view of the mechanical stoker layout as installed on a Lancashire Boiler. The pulverised coal was originally delivered to the coal hoppers from the coal bunker by two Archimedes Screws when the system was installed at Bancroft Mill in 1968.
