Proctor's Mechanical Stokers - Hammerton Street Iron Works - Burnley

The Proctor mechanical stoker below the coal hoppers on the front of a Lancashire Boiler at Bancroft Mill, Barnoldswick (see LAN00012). The motor and adjustable speed controller unit is seen on the left. The exposed moving fire-bars are visible under the right hand side coal hopper.
