Description and History of Site:-
The iron bridge was built in 1843, replacing a medieval bridge. When it was strengthened in 1988 one of the old iron decks was put on display here.
Plaque reads: 'Cast iron beams and deck plates from Hadleigh Iron Bridge built in 1843.'
