Description and History of Site:-
Brick and slate three storeys and loft seven bays. Loading bay and raised gable in centre. Wheel internal in bottom right hand corner. Large rectangular windows with stone sills under flat arch brick lintels. Iron tie. Stone kneelers. Dog-tooth course at cornice. Machinery supported on cast iron columns. (Hatcher 1974).
On mill inscription: RECONSTRUCTED WITH NEW MACHINERY AND WATER COURSES 1842 MDL. A plaque in the lettering: MDL 1847.

Planning permission was granted in the mid 1970s and in 2006 to convert parts of the 'disused mill' into residential accommodation.
