Marske Limekiln

Description and History of Site:-
Limekiln set into cliff-face underneath Deer Park wood next to small quarry. Triangular face to North with triangular 'fireplace'. Presumably built when the land beyond the wood was enclosed and made into pasture unless it was connected with the building of Hutton Monument.
