Description and History of Site:-
Corn exchange and market building. The west range dates from 1847 and was by W A Nicholson. The east range dates from 1878 to 1880 and was by Bellamy & Hardy. Converted in the late 20th century to a restaurant, covered market and bingo club. (adapted from HER)
