Description and History of Site:-
Brick-lined tunnel or archway under the railway embankment below the western end of the Romford Station platforms - now disused and fenced off at each end - formerly accommodated railway link from Romford Goods Station to Romford Brewery.
Possibly also provided rail access for Romford's first (South Street) gasworks (qv)?
