Description and History of Site:-
Former LCC Tramways depot, 1908, with two-storey yellow stock-brick facade and brick arch entrance of note. Reconstructed for trolleybuses, 1938 and converted for buses 1959.
Smith and Carr (2004) :'Built 1908-10 as a tram depot for LCC, and converted for trolleybuses 1939. Further altered 1959 when it became a bus garage. Large arched vehicle entrance.'
