Description and History of Site:-
SELIA (1982): 'The New Cross Super Kinema, designed by James Watt, was opened in 1925. The Kinema had a spectacular illuminated rising organ, a 20-piece orchestra, ballroom and tea rooms. This former cinema stands on the corner of Clifton Rise and a supermarket now occupies the ground floor.'
