Holmes Windmill

Caption :- Holme's Mill - Built in 1843, possibly on the site of an earlier mill, this former 5-sailed was originally a 7-storey tower mill. In about 1916 the mill was tail-winded and the damage resulted in the tower being lowered by 2 storeys' Milling continued using an auxiliary engine until 1972.
