Concrete structures representing a fairly complete suite of foundations for an anti-aircraft battery. Built in (probably) 1942 principally as protection for Yeadon Airfield, now Leeds Bradford international airport, and more particularly to protect the AVRO aircraft factory at Yeadon (WYK01422) which produced Lancaster Bombers, Ansons used mainly for reconnaissance and training purposes, and other aircraft types.
