Description and History of Site:-
Part of early/mid C19th terrace of typical weavers cottages. Hatcher notes (1972) :- Original manufactory, probably built by Jonathon Roberts in the early 19th century, on old pre-turnpike road. Stable below, weaving chamber etc above. On several levels.
