Remains of Skyreholme Dam

Description and History of Site:-
Earth mound across the valley that formed the dam for the Skyreholm Reservoir. This used to regulate/store water for use by Skyreholm Mill. The dam burst in 1899 and was never repaired. Length of dam estimated as 100m.
