Langcliffe Lodge

Description and History of Site:-

It is a well-built single-storey building which housed the lodge-gate keeper at the entrance to the then-private Loge lane which led to Langcliffe High Mill and Langcliffe Place. One of the two imposing gate posts survives but widening of the road has removed the other post. It is now a private residence.It was built in 1839 by the owners of the mill and their mansion
