Railway Cottages

Description and History of Site:-
Sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings, Welsh slate roof, 2 storeys with rear outshut. One element of an important surviving group of railway buildings. Six railway workers cottages of 1846, adjacent to Richmond Station. By G T Andrews for George Hudson's Great North of England Railway.
