Clementhorpe Co-op

Description and History of Site:-
Large four storey building in brown brick. Decorative brick cornice. Rectangular windows, in pairs, with slightly redder brick lintels, stone sills. Built as a granary and steam mill, occupied by the Co-op in 1973, and later by elements of York City Council. Refurbished c2014 and now (2017) in use as mixed office space. Was part of a much larger complex with a frontage extending to Micklegate.
