Whitby Watermill

Description and History of Site:-
Derelict brick and pantile building alongside beck. Two storeys and loft. Numerous flat arched brick lintel widnows. Hatcher considered the possibility that this was a watermill. Alternatively, part of a boatyard. A building with the same outline as that photographed in 1973 stands on the same foundations today (2017).
