Whitby Boatyard

Description and History of Site:-
Nice herringbone tooled stone building with regular square sash windows. Three storeys and a loft. Built out into harbour. Pantile roof and top floor of boatyard herringbone stonework painted white (Hatcher, 1973). Originally a warehouse of the early C19, in the 1970s operated as a nightclub, now (2017) residential.
