Description and History of Site:-
By John Carr 1781with Six segmental arches with voussoirs

Round arches of differing arcs. Three arches over water of unequal curve. Three dry arches on west side two on east side. Largest and flattest arch in centre. Nice even flush voussoirs. Very simple. Semi-circular cutwaters that rise to form pedestrian retreats. Very slightly projecting string of square section above arches with flush parapet resting on it. Another slight projection of square section as cornices.
