New Holland Dock

Description and History of Site:-

Small tidal dock, built by the Manchester Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway Company in 1848 and used by British Rail until 1960 in connection with the ferry service to Hull. Although still in use the basin is badly silted except alongside the east quay.
