Hanson's Mill

Description and History of Site:-
Five storey tower mill of between 1842 and 1855 originally in tarred red brick, built to replace an earlier post mill. Most of the machinery was removed in 1964 and taken to Brixton Mill in London. The flour dresser was removed in 1964.

Although permission was given to demolish in 1985 the mill has been converted to a residential property.
