Addlethorpe or Ingoldmells Mill

Description and History of Site:-
A six-storey tower mill built c1830, to replace a post mill.

Interior retains lower part of upright shaft with spur wheel, gearing and fittings to 2 pairs of grey stones, with kibbler, engine and drive shafts. The mill and associated buildings have had various uses including as a corn merchants premises.

Currently (2018) it is occupied by W.N Shrive & Son, who sell animal foods and hardware.
