Melbourne Terrace

Description and History of Site:-

Three storey yellow brick with coloured bands. Dated 1880. At left a very large 'shop' window on each floor. On right two tall narrow three storey houses with small windows. 'S' over large window on middle floor. Intertwined initials over shop window, carved head on keystone of 'shop' doorway. According to a passer-by a Mr Seal who made furniture lived there (Hatcher, 1973).
