Charlton Rope Works - London

Railway extension looking north towards the wharf on the River Thames. The line was used to carry imported manilla and other materials to the works. The corridor was later retained to allow for possible direct loading of rope onto ships but was never used for this purpose. The rails follow the alignment of Glenton's mineral tramway of 1840.
