Patent Cork Pulley Company - Halifax

The Halifax Patent Cork Pulley Co. manufactured compressed cork pulleys used on machine drives and for crane braking devices. The site of the company's workshop was at the junction of Union Street and New Road, at the time of this view occupied by an extension to Abram Pulman steel stockholders, May 1985.
