Gayle Mill - Hawes

Gayle Mill interior, with 1879 double-vortex turbine, built by Williamsons (now Gilbert Gilkes & Gordon Ltd) of Kendal. It drove a range of woodworking machinery (rack sawbench, circular saw, planer, and lathes). Still in use today (2017).
