Description and History of Site:-
The long single-storey building built of brick, wood and slate was a factory built by local builder Thomas Holland in c1863. The long banks of small paned windows were designed to let in as much light as possible.
Occupied in turn by three stay-making firms, the last of which was Thomas Pretty of Ipswich.
