Barnetby Railway Station

Description and History of Site:-
The original station was built about 1849 when the Great Grimsby and Sheffield Junction Railway between Gainsborough and Barnetby was opened.

With the opening of Immingham dock, the Great Central Railway quadrupled the line between Wrawby and Brocklesby to handle the increased traffic and rebuilt Barnetby station in Queen Ann style.
