Description and History of Site:-
Redevelopment of the former railway sidings and outbuilding (Tower Hamlets ref. no. PA/19/02837/A1).

The last remaining part of a viaduct designed and built by George Bidder and George Stephenson from 1838 was unearthed by developers Marldon during initial construction phase.

The new apart-hotel/commercial business space incorporates part of the shrapnel-damaged wall of the viaduct 'which will remain as a memorial to the victims and survivors of the Blitz in Spitalfields'.
