Description and History of Site:-
Workers' housing, erected 1911 under the will of Richard Sutton, carrier of Golden Lane d. 20th May 1900.

This was Sutton's second scheme. Site had been Champion's vinegar works.

Sutton's will and details of the Sutton Trust are held at the National Archive. Sutton & Co. was nationalised in 1948 into British Road Services Parcels division. - Bob Rust
