Built for Jonathan Herbert Reddihough, born Bradford, 1877. In 1875 his father, John Reddihough, formed a partnership, Reddihough & Murgatroyd, wool staplers, at 21 Little Horton Lane, Bradford. He gained patents for improvements to carding engines and for washing fibrous materials. By 1901 J H had joined the family business, later becoming one of the directors. In 1920 the firm was incorporated as John Reddihough Ltd, wool merchants, combers and topmakers. By the 1930s J H Reddihough lived at Farnhill Hall, Kildwick, Keighley. He died in 1964.
