Description and History of Site:-
On the last remaining fragment of the once very extensive Midland Railway sidings and goods yard to the southwest of the Leeds Steel Works site. Currently (2018) provides mechanical and electrical maintenance services for diesel and electric locomotives, and wheel re-profiling for railway vehicles of all types.
