Description and History of Site:-
Lock house situated beside Salterhebble top lock. Calder & Hebble Navigation lock house of circa 1820 built on T shaped plan with regularly coursed stone and hipped stone slate roof. Front façade enriched by use of low parapet, pilasters, recessed arches containing windows and elaborated door surround.
