Description and History of Site:-

Small brick chimney painted dark red.The Yorkshire Herald, formerly the York Herald (1790-1889) operated variously as a daily or weekly newspaper and advertiser until 1954. The building, redeveloped in 1997, now houses a cinema and several bars.
