Description and History of Site:-
Two storeys of early stonework terminating in the original string course broken by straight headed windows of one and two mullions with crisp rebates and sloping sills probably intended to have wooden shutters on the outside not glass. Some of the windows have vertical iron bars. Two window openings project above the string and string rises above them perhaps these were dormers. The stonework and windows are probably Tudor/Late medieval. Above the stonework there are gables in very early brickwork of very small bricks possibly late Tudor/Stuart with a window similar to the others in the NE gable. The pitch of these gables is very steep possibly for thatch. In SE longer façade there is a shallow five-centred arch to a doorway giving access to the wheelhouse.
