Thirkleby Mill

Description and History of Site:-
Small stone mill and nice brick house. Wood weatherboard extensions to mill.

The mill is of large sandstone ashlars, apparently no windows to the front. Several graffiti including dates 1815, 1821, 182?. Now electrically powered. The house is being rebuilt and otherwise altered. (Hatcher, 1973)
