Stutton Windmill

Description and History of Site:-
Shell of four storeys remaining in disused gravel pit. Has been plastered inside and out. Quite large steeply narrowing magnesian limestone tower. Fireplace existing at ground floor level in thickness of wall. Two doorways opposite one another. Square windows all offset. All lintels consist of two stones meeting above centre of opening held in place by cantilever effect of masonry above.
