Description and History of Site:-
Warehouse let to local farmers to store grain before selling it and transporting it by rail. Each had his own area inside for whittling. (Hatcher, 1973) On the York Newcastle & Berwick (later North Eastern) Railway's line through Slingsby to Driffield; closed in 1964. Was being used as a store for the caravan site in 1972. Now (2017) appears to have been demolished.
