Linton Mill

Description and History of Site:-
Oldest part stone 3 storeys plus loft brick openings inserted. Fabric of chalk ,stone, brick and tile Worked by water until c1950. As a corn mill it worked two pairs of stones. Two stones survive, one in position, wheel was overshot. Pentrough made by Derwent Foundry, Malton. (Hatcher, 1973)
