Hartwith Mill

Description and History of Site:-
Probably developed in 4 stages:
1. Wheelhouse with stone slab roof and kneelers.
2. Main mill building, typically large classically proportioned and rather tall with huge monolithic lintels and large sash-paned windows.
3. Added as wing to 2, fairly soon after and similar in style.
4. Victorian mill house to the right. Probably early - mid C19
