Ulshaw or Danby Low Mill

Description and History of Site:-

Large stone mill and house. Four shallow storeys and loft in random rubble stone, except for wheelhouse and slab roof. 2 bays, square windows irregularly spaced under large monolithic lintels in different stone with fine vertical tooling. Three storey mill house in one with mill, though at right angles to it with late Georgian style doorway (Hatcher, 1974)
