'I' Warehouse

Description and History of Site:-

The only warehouse in St Katharine Dock still standing, designed in 1858 by George Aitchison, replacing a wooden two-storey building. Wrought iron beams, cast-iron columns, largely open at ground level. Italianate tower. Cellars below.

Converted to flats, with shops at quayside level in early 1970s
