DLR tunnel cutter head

Description and History of Site:-
Part of the cutter head from the front of the boring machine used to drive the twin tunnels under the Thames from Island Gardens to Greenwich on the DLR Lewisham extension. Cutty Sark station opened 3rd December 1999.
