Description and History of Site:-
Norton Folgate Power House, built c.1893 for the Great Eastern Railway to supply current to Liverpool Street Station, the Great Eastern Hotel and Bishopsgate Goods Yard. In use until 1907, retained as standby until 1932. Converted to bar / restaurant in 1999.
