Automatic Standard Screw Co. Ltd. - Halifax

The Automatic Standard Screw Company was created around the year 1896 by Simeon Crawshaw from an existing screw manufacturing business located on a site in Dispensary Walk (see WYK00777). Within a couple of years this new warehouse and offices was built to the designs of Messrs. Jackson and Fox, architects. Following the closure of the company in 1993, the premises were converted for use by a firm of insurance brokers. Photo. February 1998.
