Description and History

Large disused distribution depot. Awaiting redevelopment by Middlesex University.

At the start of the 20th century a major factory in Tottenham on former nursery land south of Ferry Lane was that of Harris Lebus the furniture manufacturer.

This company also built the large depot east of the railway on the north side of Ferry Lane in 1956 that it continued to use until 1970 when it was sold off to the GLC, becoming their supplies depot.
