Ruswarp Railway Station

Description and History of Site:-

Ruswarp Station. Built in 1846 to the design of G T Andrews Architect to the York & North Midland Railway. Now converted to private dwelling. Hatcher noted on 7 November 1973:- Very nice Andrews medieval-style station like Richmond and with decorated barge boards the same. Two Tudor arches onto platform. Larger than many country stations and in fine local Aislaby sandstone.
