Corn Mill

Description and History of Site:-

There has been a mill on the site since at least 1582. It was originally a water-powered mill before later being converted to steam power. The corn mill has been the subject of extensions and rebuilding since it was first constructed. Much of the present mill is likely to be of later construction and dates from the industrial expansion of Barnoldswick in the early to mid 19th century. (Heritage trail information)
