Pocklington Clock Mill

Description and History of Site:-

Three storeys brick and slate, 1805. No evidence of a clock.Mill rebuilt after being burnt down 1805. Used for grinding corn until c1920 and for generating electricity, probably with a turbine, until c1937. May have had part of 3rd storey removed. (Hatcher 1973)
