Moorfield Mill, Haugh Shaw Mill or Savile Park Mill

Caption :- Moorfield Mill, Moorfield Street, Halifax. Erected in 1896, and first occupied by John Oakes & Co., manufacturers of worsted fabrics. In 1909, the tenants included Messrs. Lawson, Son & Co., worsted weavers and a Mr Stell, cotton weaver. William Mackintosh, worsted spinners occupied the mill in 1936, to be replaced during the 1960s by Allan Haigh & Co., manufacturers of brass valves, cocks, pipes and marine fittings, as well as sound signal equipment.
